CoachRoost opens its free plan to youth sports coaches
SALT LAKE CITY, UT - CoachRoost today opened its communication-first team management platform to youth sports coaches, with a free plan any volunteer coach can sign up for directly.
The free Coach plan covers one team of up to 25 athletes and includes the full season toolkit: scheduling, one-tap RSVPs, team messaging, rosters, and notifications. There is no trial clock, no credit card, and no advertising. Paid Coach+ and Organization plans add multi-team support, calendar sync, CSV roster import, and club-wide email controls.
CoachRoost brings scheduling, RSVPs, rosters, and parent messaging into one place, with quiet hours and customizable email templates built in. It is designed around the household, so a parent with several kids on different teams manages everything from a single login rather than a separate account per team.
"We started CoachRoost because the tools that existed made it genuinely hard to keep up, and nobody seemed to love any of them," said Carlos Pliego, founder of CoachRoost. "Coaches are volunteers. Charging them to send a schedule was always the wrong business model."
CoachRoost is a new product and is working closely with its first coaches. Teams can start at coachroost.com, and feedback is welcome through the contact form.
